Our foot has approximately 7200 nerve endings, 26 bones, 20 muscles and a hundreds of blood vessels in one foot. Wearing tight shoes also endures stress too the feet It is really relaxing to pamper our feet and show them off in fabulous sandals.

Foot therapy or pedicure as it is commonly known was known as luxury that only women deserved, but these days there are equal number of men who are very particular about their feet.  To have pretty feet it is not necessary that you have to visit the salon regularly. With a small amount of time and effort you can give yourself a fabulous feet makeover.

Best Ways To Make Your Feet Look Pretty

Things that you need to have a good pedicure.

  • A small basin
  • Essential oils
  • Baking soda
  • A foot filer
  • Cuticle pusher
  • Nail cutter
  • Nail filer

Fill up the basin with warm water .put a few drop of aroma oils with two tablespoon of baking soda. Remove your toe nail polish. Use a foot file on dry skin to remove dead skin. You can scrub your feet with a scrubber that can be prepared at home.

Brown sugar Foot scrub. Ingredients:

2 table spoon brown sugar
2 table spoon oatmeal
2 table spoon aloe vera gel
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon almond oil or olive oil

Before you start preparing the scrub it is important that you grind the oatmeal to a sandy consistency so that it does not scratch the skin. Mix all the ingredients to form a smooth paste.

  • Scrub your feet.
    Apply the paste on your feet using circular motions to offer massage to all the points and relax the tensed nerves. Rinse off with warm water. You can now soak your feet in warm water and add aroma oil to it. Do not soak you feet in very hot water.  You should ideally soak your feet in warm water for 10 minutes. Soaking your feet for a longer duration would make the skin dry. Use a toenail brush to gently scrub your toenails at the end of your soak. If you have an open sore on your foot, check with your podiatrist before soaking.
  • Trim corns and callouses
    Use an emery board to remove all hard skin you can trim your corns or callouses after soaking as they will be softer and easier to trim.
  • Trim toe nails
    Yu should cut your toe nails straight across and then gently round the corners with a nail filer. Push your cuticles back but do not cut them trimming toe nails after soaking in water makes them softer and easier to trim.
  • Apply creams and massage your feet.
    Rub a foot cream to moisturize your skin. Take time and massage your feet with your index finger and thumb. Start to massage the small joints in the toe and continue for one or two minutes per toe. Work toward the pad of your foot with your thumb in a caterpillar motion (thumb walking) and massage for a couple of minutes.
  • Polish for the ladies.
    With a wet Q-tip, dab around your toe nail to take off any excess cream. This will prepare your nail for polish. Choose a good nail color and apply

Once your feet are well pedicured and they look pretty you can wear any fabulous sandals on.  If you need to be prepared for sweaty soles, summer soles are insoles that are used to absorb sweat .all you need to do is just peel and stick the product onto your shoes.

You should always remember to have pretty feet  you should keep changing up shoes after wearing them for several hours, keep our feet hydrated, seek out a podiatrist for check ups, and try to have a pedicure once a month.
